Don D'Andrea has formed D'Andrea & Associates, based in Santa Cruz, CA. He brings twenty-five plus years of human resource experience to his own firm.

D’Andrea & Associates is a recruiting firm focused on the front end of the recruiting process: Original candidate research, followed by initial candidate contact and candidate profile development. D&A’s clients self manage the back end of the recruiting process and receive the benefits of a thorough, unbundled and customizable front end search methodology.

D&A offers its clients a rewarding and cost effective alternative or complement to more costly contingency hiring fee agencies and traditional front end plus back end retained search firms.

Prior to D'Andrea & Associates, Don played a significant role, for more than 7 years, in the rapid growth of Oryx Executive Search.

Prior to Oryx, he was Director of Staffing at Silicon Graphics. Previously, he managed staffing and/or other human resource functions at VLSI Technology, Advanced Micro Devices, and other Silicon Valley technology companies. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration & Industrial Relations from California Polytechnic State University.

Don possesses in depth knowledge and experience in developing innovative strategies for, and building, proactive recruiting organizations. For many years, he has successfully applied his knowledge and experience in the unbundled candidate research and profiling arena. His experience adds to his ability to provide D'Andrea & Associates' clients with unique recruiting services that are tailored to meet their needs for outstanding candidates.
